What is the general premise of the video?
I think this video represents the addiction of people with cellphones and technology. How they are “lost in the world” meaning people are so glued to their phones they’re out of touch with reality.   Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
Yes, there is a powerful meaning behind this video and how society is addicted to technology. The video over-exaggerates peoples addition to get the message across. The boy in the video that was not addicted was constantly trying to get the attention of those in the crowd who were on their cellphones and it was sad to see how he was unsuccessful in communicating with them.   Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why? I feel like this is more of our current social situation with and exaggerated video to represent societies addiction. Although in a sense, it can almost seem like a reality as some find themselves in situations trying to get peoples attention who are on their phones.
