I feel these minimalistic pictures consist of a simple background with an living or nonliving object. These are presented in a unique way to give the illusion of being smaller than they actually are. The distance and angles they are taken at helps to give this illusion which makes the picture visually appealing. I think characteristics needed to identify Minimalism photos should include: distance, angle, a simple background, and they should be specifically focused on an object, animal, or person thats being minimized.
